We are living through times of great flux and transition, in which many of our old "certainties" are breaking down. Where is God in this experience? How can we best navigate the changes we are facing? Can we trust that breakdown can become breakthrough, not just for ourselves but for the whole human family?

During the retreat we will explore some aspects of both the chaos and the possibilities of new creation inherent in the changes we face in our lives and our world today, and some ways of nourishing an authentic spirituality of transition. We will also make a reflective journey through some of the events of the Exodus story, and relate them to our own experience.
Margaret Silf is an ecumenical lay Christian committed to working across and beyond the denominational divides. She lives in Scotland and is a mother and a grandmother. Margaret is a much sought after resource person offering workshops and retreats on various spirituality topics around the globe. She is considered an expert in the contemporary integration of Ignatian Spirituality. She has written numerous books including her soon to be published: The Other Side of Chaos.
